With its brightness measuring 20,000 lumens, these projectors lit up vivid visuals across the venue.

Panasonic supplied the HD visual communication system enabling rapid exchanges between large distances, contributing to the smooth operation of the Games. Competition footage was also directly transmitted to the road cycling venue, highlighting Panasonic’s innovative new solution.

Our plasma displays exhibited exquisite visual reproduction capabilities in indoor venues with strong lighting. The compact screens took up little space and could be installed in smaller Olympic venues. Panasonic’s strength lay in our ability to suggest optimal video solutions to suit the venue.
