Panasonic’s HX-WA2 Active HD Waterproof Camcorder was recently reviewed by PluggedIn.co.uk, a site that provides impartial technology news, advice and reviews, and we’re proud to say the news is all good. Noted as a great lightweight and waterproof camcorder, the review concludes that it’s ideal for the pool and the beach.
Different aspects of the camcorder’s design were given a favourable mention, starting with the unique pistol grip design which fits perfectly into the hand for a snug hold, making it ideal for adventure lovers who want to capture all the action. The large 2.6 inch flip out screen which tilts and turns as far as 285 degrees was recognised because it makes it easy to view footage while filming and during playback.
A tick of approval was also given for the camcorder’s ability to capture high quality photos and Full HD, thanks to 14 megapixel high-resolution. The 5x optical zoom lets you get up close to your subjects without disturbing them which was seen as a bonus for sports and wildlife shooting.
Factor in the ease of dynamic 360°/180° panoramic shooting, a built-in flash for low light environments, and the fact that it’s packed with useful and creative features, and the HX-WA2 is a camcorder that’s very hard to go past for high quality results under all conditions.
