Reduce e-waste with TechCollect
With electronic waste growing three times faster than any other type of waste in Australia, urgent action was required to recycle this waste and keep it out of landfill. Panasonic, recognising the importance of such an initiative, spent five years campaigning for the introduction of a national e-waste recycling scheme. The culmination of that campaign was Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform Limited’s (ANZRP) TechCollect – a solution that helps to deliver sustainable environmental outcomes.
TechCollect puts the environment firmly on the agenda with the acknowledgement that real change can only be achieved when both companies and the community work together. This is a nationwide recycling service with drop off locations in councils where old technology is recycled to the highest safety and environmental standards. The e-waste is broken down into component materials and used to manufacture new products, conserving resources and protecting our environment.
How does TechCollect work?
