Lumix 35-100mm lens on a GH3 signals end of days for DSLR

Will Crockett, in his Crocketville video, talks about the radical change the DSLR is going through. He explains that a non-DSLR mirrorless camera has arrived that will replace the DSLR, and that camera is the Panasonic Lumix GH3.

Will goes on to say that the Lumix GH3 will allow you to shoot more and shoot faster and that it benefits from being smaller, lighter and less expensive. He also talks about the relative ease, versus a DSLR, of shooting hybrid – that is still photos with video and sound.

Will highlights the 35-100mm f2.8 lens which offers the same coverage as a 70-200mm lens but is a third of the weight and size and 30% cheaper. It also auto focuses faster and auto focuses flawlessly when shooting video. The colour is wonderful and the build is water-resistant. The lenses are tough and made for pros to shoot events with hybrid.

Will encourages his viewers to discover mirrorless cameras and predicts that the end of the DSLR is coming. Find out everything Will had to say about the exceptional Lumix GH3 by watching the video above.

  • My first mirrorless system was (and remains in use) the Olympus PEN E-P3. Mirrorless systems are incredible and certainly a way for the future.
