I have bought this HC-X900M and try to install software in my 2 computer both 64bit window 7 only 1 month old when I connect camera to computer it dos not read or let me import video to edit can any one help me it keep giving me massage about SDCARD

What’s the battery usage time like? We have a different brand camcorder and the time between charges is appalling.

In reply to Tom Brown. I have been researching this same 'issue' Tom. From what I can gather the fan is quiter than the previous model, but is still a problem compared to other camcorders. This model appears to be a slight rejig of the TM900, rather than a fresh model. Pity they can't fix the fan because its a great camcorder otherwise. Does anybody actually buy and use this 3D stuff- prefer it if the AQ was fixed.

Just one question does it or can you get an under water case that it would fit in or something to that affect. as my back yard is the great barrier reef and I love to snorkel and take vidos’ every time I do thay are all ways different and mind blowing I just love it . So I was thinking the X900 would do a fantastic job.

But have they fixed the fan noise, that is the big question-
‘Note From the Manufacturer: We at Panasonic would like to address an issue that has come up about excessive fan noise in our TM900. Actual dB Fan Noise is measured at less than 20dB. This is 3dB higher than a perfectly isolated room, and more than a 10% reduction from our previous model. If fan noise appears to be a problem in a recording situation, the user can change the mic from 5:1 channel record to 3:1 channel record which should solve the noise issue. If you still feel that the noise is problematic please contact Panasonic Customer Support at 1-800-211-PANA (7262). Our support staff has been instructed on how to better handle this issue. We truly appreciate the opportunity to amend any issues that are a result of our products. Thank you for considering Panasonic Camcorders as your choice for high quality video recording.’
