Is it possible to use the Home Theatre app or the Stereo app to use an iOS device to select music content (mp3) on a DLNA server to play on a SC-BTT370 DLNA client?

I would prefer not to turn my TH-P42S20A TV on to play music.

Is it possible to turn the ST50 and ST60 series TV’s ON and OFF, that is, bring them out of standby or place them into standby mode, using the Smart VIERA Remote App (iOS and Android)?

We have a dmr-bwt800. Can u get an android app to use as a remote. We also have a pt-ae7000 is there a remote app for this.

Anyone have the iOS Home Theatre app working on their iPhone/iPad? Recently purchased the SC-BT490 and cannot for the life of me get the app to connect to the system.

I’m running wireless using an Apple Time Capsule as my router and all my other virtual remotes connect fine which leads me to believe this is some sort of Panasonic software issue/glitch.

Really wish this would work as it seems to provide even better functionality than the included remote.

In reply to john hotchkiss. Hi John, yes, the remote will work with your TH-42PZ800A Viera Plasma. In regards to the HDMI cable, to our best knowledge, most major brands don't provide them either. You can, however, purchase them from any electronics retail outlet. Cheers.

if i buy a panasonic blue ray player ( either the DMP BD77GN-K or DMR – 390GLK recorder…will the remote provided work my panasonic vierra TH – 42pz800a plasma too?

also why dondon’t you provide a HDMI cable with the players?? useless without one and other companies provide them…
