Hi Anthony, thanks for your message. Unfortunately this is not possible, but we’ll pass it on to the app developers as a future feature. Cheers.

Anyone have the iOS Home Theatre app working on their iPhone/iPad? Recently purchased the SC-BT490 and cannot for the life of me get the app to connect to the system.

I'm running wireless using an Apple Time Capsule as my router and all my other virtual remotes connect fine which leads me to believe this is some sort of Panasonic software issue/glitch.

Really wish this would work as it seems to provide even better functionality than the included remote.

Hi John, yes, the remote will work with your TH-42PZ800A Viera Plasma. In regards to the HDMI cable, to our best knowledge, most major brands don't provide them either. You can, however, purchase them from any electronics retail outlet. Cheers.
