Panasonic Toughbook shines in Tough Mudder challenge

Filling out your tax return can be a challenge at the best of times but if you had to do it while competing in probably the toughest event on the planet, you’d really have your work cut out for you. This was the challenge that faced 23 year old Robert Ephraums from Sydney who completed the world’s toughest tax return while taking part in the Tough Mudder extreme obstacle course.

Tough Mudder sees participants tackling a series of extremely challenging obstacles over the 20km course, including scaling 3m high oiled walls, swimming through freezing ice baths, crawling through mud, running through fire and getting shocked by 10,000 vaults of electricity.

This would be more than enough for most people but Robert was willing to undertake the additional task of completing his tax return. However, he did have a powerful advantage – strapped to his chest was a Panasonic CF-19 Toughbook laptop. Australia’s most rugged notebook computer, the Toughbook is resistant to shocks, drops, vibrations, extreme temperatures and high altitudes. It can withstand drops from 1.8 metres and offers unparalleled protection from water and dust.

Robert found Tough Mudder gruelling but still managed to complete the world’s toughest tax return thanks to the CF-19 Toughbook. And the CF-19 Toughbook? It was ready for another round of Tough Mudder, even if Robert wasn’t.
