In order to offer the best picture possible 3D Eyewear is required. While 3D without eyewear is possible the viewing angle, cost and experience are not ready for commercial release.

We are not aware of any issues with dead pixels, Our 3D panels are made in Japan to the highest quality standards as the same with all our other models.

Does the panasonic warranty for the TH-P58VT20A TV cover dead pixels?
I’ve heard of people having issues with the first generation of 3D plasma’s having issues with dead pixels. They’ve recommended waiting until the second generation of 3D plasma’s to be released.
