LUMIX G9II Review Round-up

On the 12th of September 2023, we announced the LUMIX G9II – our latest release for the LUMIX G Series lineup, and the first to feature the Phase Hybrid Autofocus which debuted in the S5II earlier in the year.

The original G9 is popular with sports and action photographers, wildlife and birding enthusiasts, and modern content creators who needed something that could deliver great results across photo and video shooting. Users loved its lightning-fast speed, comprehensive feature list across both photo and video modes, and its impressive picture quality, all packaged in a compact, lightweight, weather sealed body.

The G9II improves on its predecessor with a new 25.2-megapixel Live MOS sensor, new image processing engine, Phase Hybrid Autofocus that is complemented by AI-powered recognition technology, an improved 5-axis stabilisation system, a new body inherited from the S5II and a flurry of features designed to get the most out of your next photo or video project.

But don’t just take our word for it. Check out some of the first impressions and reviews of this new camera from professional photographers, popular YouTubers, and seasoned tech journalists from around the world.
