One for a friend and one for myself for bushwalking. Initial impressions are very good. But please, please let us have a raw feature and manual override in a tough camera.

I have a LX5 and that is (or was great until it failed with a zoom error, awaiting on Panasonic warranty) but not a camera to take if the weather is hostile so never went bushwalking as much as I would like to have taken it.

Much nicer camera than my Canon D10 for imagine quality and compactness. Do long for the day that a lens protector is built in likes the Olympus camera even just to stop finger prints and rain drops. In fact it was a close run thing deciding between the Olypmus and Panasonic with image quality been the major factor and better low light performance.
