Whether you’re a professional photographer or someone who just likes capturing life’s memories, your photos are irreplaceable. If your camera broke, overheated, had a surge in battery power or went through an x-ray machine, there’s a good chance you’d lose all your photos. What if there was a way to safeguard your photos no matter what happens to your camera?
The good news is that Panasonic’s new SD card lines offer memory cards that can withstand all kinds of conditions, giving you peace of mind that your photos are safe.
The SDLB line features class 4 cards suitable for taking still images in the compact range, while the SDRD line has class 10 cards ideal for recording Full HD video, use with the Interchangeable lens range and for high end compacts capturing high frame rates.
Both SD card lines can handle temperatures from -25°C to 85°C and immersion in a metre of water for half an hour. They’re also built to survive jolts of electricity, x-rays and proximity to magnets, and even come with a fuse that prevents them overheating during extended use.
Now you know you can relax when it comes to protecting your photos, you can focus on capturing incredible pictures wherever the day may take you.
New SD cards look good – must get some. However, the email I got telling me about them were labelled as some many MB should that not have been GB??? I hope so, or they will be far too small…. (Proofreader needed…)
Hi Graham, thanks you for the post. Unfortunately this was a mistake; the Proof 7 SD Cards are available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB sizes. Apologies for the confusion. Cheers.
