It’s light weight, great zoom power and good battery life!

As a film maker, I’ve made films using DSLR and other professional video recording systems. For such a price and size, the video recording function in this camera is good.Only thing I hope from this camera is the timelapse function but hey, what do I have to complain from such a price?!

I recently went to Tanzania and joined a 5-day safari. I bought an FZ70 just before leaving because of its 60X zoom and tried to understand the instructions on the flight over. The instructions were the only negative for me – difficult to grasp for a rank amateur. However the camera was fantastic in every respect. It’s a beautiful instrument. I managed to capture quite outstanding photos of most of the big game mostly from long range – whiskers on lions from 150 meters etc. I rank the camera 9.75 out of 10. Everyone should own one. They are extraordinarily good value for money. Well done Panasonic.
