My HVX200 (also from Panasonic) arrived nearly a year after being available
in Japan and U.S.
We are treated very badly here like backwater leftovers.
But when it arrives it’s 30-40% more expensive. The cameras are so much cheaper overseas to start with and if they’re around by 6 months they drop even further in price. Here they arrive and we pay more and 30-40% above new price when it’s been on the market elsewhere for months. I have been buying direct online and from overseas and seldom buy from Michaels or Ted’s camera store or from Harvey Norman for that matter.
