International Broadcast Centre (IBC), Barra da Tijuca Olympic Park

Dedicated to television and radio stations with Games broadcasting rights, the 85,000m² IBC can house up 10 thousand people, all of them working to create an estimated 6,000 hours of images to be broadcast across the world, reaching five billion TV viewers.

Main Press Centre (MPC), Barra da Tijuca Olympic Park

During the Games, the MPC is home to 25,000 accredited journalists, with the 27,000m² facility operating 24 hours a day. From here, beautiful stories will travel across the world sharing athletes achieving their dreams, records and medals, and everything the people of Brazil have done to make these Games possible.
