Panasonic provided 25 ASTROVISION screens across 18 Olympic venues. The newer high-luminance LED ASTROVISION model was significantly leaner and more energy efficient when compared to the model used for the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. During the Games, this new ASTROVISION displayed many inspiring scenes.
