What bugs me is that I have to install third party hacked firmware on my Panasonic GH-1 in order to be able to make full use of the hardware, since the manufacturer provided hardware is so limited.

The new Lumix TZ30 appears to have the same
mos sensor, the same Venus engine etc
Is there any reason for us to believe it will not produce the same dismal photo
quality that has turned a lot of people away from Panasonic?

I don’t have Panasonic a Camcorder or Camera before but I like your designs’ If I happen to change of upgrade mine I would bear Panasonic products in mind.
