Have you won a Panasonic ECONAVI Air Conditioner?

The competition is closed.

We’re giving away an airconditioner every single day during the Australian Open Grand Slam, in the Panasonic ‘Cool Moments’ Facebook competition running from 16th January to the 30th January, 8.59am AEDST 2012. That’s 14 chances to stay cool this Summer!

So far, the winners are…

Date Winner Entry
16/1 Carol DeGiorgio Keeping cool would be a breeze  With Panasonic Air there’d be no unease  As tension mounts on the court  I’d relax watching the HOTTEST sport!
17/1 Lisa Maddison When Players crank up the heat, Queensland supporters jump to their feet, Thank heavens Panasonic chills us out, Energy left to cheer and shout!
18/2 Sophie Wright Watching with my tennis mad family can often get heated, but we RALLY together, SERVE each other and share the LOVE to cool down!
19/1 Sharon La Pira Panasonic. The Difference …between being a massive fan with a big fan, or a massive fan with an airconditioner!
20/1 Anne McGinnes When Nadal takes off his shirt, Mum sighs, “He is so dreamy! Turn up the ECONAVI, Dad, It’s getting rather steamy!
21/1 Lisa Frankel While watching the Australian Open we put lawn chairs out, umbrellas up and turn on the sprinkler, we have the TV sitting under the balcony
22/1 Marc Knevett I refrain from racquet throwing and Hewitt-esque spats, and if things get out of control I spend some time on the naughty mat.
23/1 Julia Laing I’d never be a ball-boy, thats just too much work. I’d sit inside with my Panasonic Aircon, and watch that fuzzy ball go berzerk!
24/1 Josh Smolenaers When I get loud and heated, my wife puts an icecube in my mouth which sure cools me down and keeps me quiet!
25/1 Lynne Huckel SYMPTOMS: sweaty palms, elevated heart rate and sweat beading on the patient’s forehead. CAUSE: Exciting tennis moments DIAGNOSIS: Massive Australian Open fan CURE: Panasonic ECONAVI!
26/1 Cathy Hamann Australia Day tennis is such a tradition, drinking chilled drinks is our ammunition. With many ales we consume there’s lots of umpires in the room.
27/1 Martin New After heated arguments about tennis my wife usually aces me with frosty responses, the cold shoulder and an icy stare that gives me the chills!
28/1 Melissa Pearson By borrowing Rogers towel to dab my forehead, drinking Raffas cold water when he wasn’t looking, and sneaking into the commentators airconditioned box.
29/1 Kevin D’Souza
I meditate like the Dalai Lama,
Thinking positive thoughts to attract good karma,
Keeping my cool as the players sweat,
But Econavi’s the COOLEST yet!

There’s still time to submit your winning entry! All you have to do to be eligible to WIN a Panasonic ECONAVI air conditioner is select your favourite Australian Open ‘Cool Moment’ video, then tell us in 25 words or less “how would you keep cool during the Australian Open?”.

Hi Andrew, we’re currently reviewing all entries and will post yesterday’s winner this evening.

      Cheers,
      Team Panasonic

I didn’t know it was meant to Rhyme, I better get it right for next time!

    • Graham

I see what you did there ;)

Creative writing doesnt have to rhyme but its probably the easiest way to be creative in 25 words or less. However something like a haiku poem for instance doesnt need to rhyme and can be equally creative.

  4. Larabelle

Well done gals – no wonder you won with entries like that!

  5. Pippa

No, nothing at all about it having to rhyme. Just so happens the best entries did. I’m sure they won’t be picking rhymes every time

  6. Heather

A Panasonic Econav, is “so HOT they’re COOL” I’d be forever serving up “ACES”

  7. penny

phewy…some “hot” competition on my hands, people are so clever…will have to “up” the temp to get my entry to “ace” an aircon….

  8. Jayjay

Well done girls – fantastic entries. Wonderfully creative and great to see Panasonic sticking to their 25WOL requirement. I find that really cool! Thanks.

  11. Leanne Stansbury

Just wondering if you review all the entries that have been submitted thus far each time or if they are binned and you look at new ones each day? (Does that make sense???)

    • panasonicau

Hi Leanne, each day we ask the community to select their cool moment and tell us how they’re keeping their cool during the Australia Open. It is from these responses, each day, we select one winning entry. All entries from previous days are not taken into consideration, therefore we encourage you to submit a new entry each day.

      Cheers and good luck!
      Team Panasonic

  12. Graham

Congrats to all… I guess its better luck next year for the rest of us. As a consolation prize, can you possible tell us roughly how many entries you received overall?
