LUMIX DMC-FX68 offers bright f2.8 ultra wide-angle 25mm Leica lens with 5x optical zoom for the discerning photographer
Panasonic has introduced the new slim-profile LUMIX DMC-FX68 which offers enthusiast photographers an ideal pocketable camera to complement their camera kit. This model, which replaces the DMC-FX65, features 14.1-megapixels plus a highly versatile, very bright f2.8 25mm ultra-wide angle LEICA DC lens with 5x optical zoom. Users can also now enjoy High Definition (HD) video recording with this all-in-one movie and still camera – packed in a remarkably compact, slip-in-the-pocket-sized body.
To complement the DMC-FX68’s superior optical pedigree, Panasonic has developed an industry-leading, Sonic Speed AF (Auto Focus) system combined with a dramatically reduced start-up time of 1.06 seconds. The result is fast, yet accurate AF performance, so users will never miss a spontaneous shooting opportunity.
The DMC-FX68 comes in Black and will be available in stores March 2010 at an RRP of $499.
